Spring for Kids Raffle Winners Announced

What is Spring for Kids?

Spring for Kids is a non-profit committee supporting the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Fund at BC Children’s Hospital.

The Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Program at BC Children's Hospital is a provincial resource for about 2,500 children with cleft lip and/or palate or craniofacial birth defects in BC and the Yukon. Health-care issues for these children are significant and complex. The goal of the specialized multidisciplinary team at BC Children's Hospital is to assist these children achieve their maximum potential. The team provides ongoing assessment, treatment planning, case management and coordination, follow-up and treatment intervention in Vancouver and in the child's home community.

The goal of the 2010 Spring for Kids campaign is to raise over $100,000 to fund cleft palate research, surgical missions and to support the continued care of patients and their families.
